Why Real Estate?

My real estate adventure started in 2001 with the purchase of my first home WITHOUT WORKING WITH A REALTOR!!! Because I was given terrible advice by some people …little did I know about the buyer representation and the benefits of working with a real estate professional. I still consider that experience one of the worst decisions of my life since it cost me thousands of dollars and a lot of heartache…I had no idea about the real estate market, neighborhoods, prices and the lending industry. I tried to do a lot by myself and asked a lot of questions to the wrong people and tried to do a lot of search on the internet which gave me a false confidence that I knew it all…and it all went wrong…

I guess you know by now why I am in the real estate industry...because I don’t want the same thing happen to other people, particularly to the clients whom I represent. I want them to know the facts about the market conditions and their options before they make a big decision. Yes, it is important to do research but only from good and reliable resources and it is very important to ask questions but only to the experts.

I have been selling and leasing homes in metropolitan Houston area (Galleria, Memorial, Energy Corridor, Heights, Rice Military, West U, Medical Center, and Meyerland), Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land, Missouri City and Pearland areas for 8 years. I am a former diplomat and an interpreter. My past work experience allows me to multi-task, negotiate well, read in-between the lines and establish strong relationships with my clients as well as my working allies. Real estate is so far my favorite career simply because I love people and homes! I also love the ever changing industry which never gets boring. It also excites and energizes me to observe Houston-a city so vibrant, dynamic and full of surprises-grow and change as years go by. I think you’ve understood by now that I am passionate about Houston and my career…
